Michael Hall III’s Career Representing Injured People
Hall earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Chicago in 1995 and his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1998. He practiced personal injury and business litigation in Southern California before returning to Minnesota and joining Hall Law Personal Injury Attorneys in 2006.
Since then, Hall has helped thousands of people throughout Minnesota. His practice has included cases involving car and truck accidents, brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, motorcycle crashes, product liability, and wrongful death.
Hall has also served in leadership roles within the Minnesota legal community, including as president of the Minnesota Association for Justice from 2019 to 2020. He has taught continuing legal education courses and served on Minnesota’s civil jury instruction review committee.
A Record of Significant Results
Hall has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements for injured clients. In November 2025, he served as lead trial lawyer in a Minneapolis case that resulted in a $12.5 million jury verdict. His other results include a $10.53 million verdict in St. Cloud and a $6.735 million Minneapolis verdict involving severe foot and ankle injuries.
His professional honors extend beyond Best Lawyers. Hall has twice been named Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer, in 2021 and 2025.
