David Pagel

David joined Hall Law in May 2021 after clerking for the Honorable Tracy L. Perzel in Dakota County District Court. David is a member of the Minnesota Association of Justice and serves on the Military & Veterans Affairs council within the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota.

David graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Military Science. He graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

While in law school, David served as an associate editor and then managing editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, he also completed Minnesota Rule 114 Qualified Neutral training. In addition to that experience, David clerked for an insurance defense firm prior to becoming Judge Perzel’s law clerk during his second year of law school.

Prior to attending law school, David worked for a large insurance company as a real estate agent. Outside of practicing law, David serves in the Minnesota National Guard where he is active in the National Guard Association of Minnesota and the United States Field Artillery Association.

In his free time, David loves spending time with his wife and two boys, fishing, golfing, and attempting to learn how to ice skate.
