Mara Brust

Mara Brust is a trial lawyer with extensive courtroom experience. She has been with Hall Law since 2017. Mara previously practiced in the areas of personal injury, product liability, and medical malpractice at a law firm in Fargo, ND, where she tried numerous cases.

As a Minneapolis personal injury attorney, he’s helped thousands of victims throughout Minnesota. She has handled complex cases, including brain injuries, car accidents, catastrophic injuries, explosion injuries, farm accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, nursing home abuse, sexual abuse, wrongful death, and more.

Mara was recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as a Top Women in Law in 2024 and as an Attorney of the Year in 2021. Mara was selected for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024 Minnesota Rising Star lists by Super Lawyers, as well as the 2016 and 2017 Great Plains Rising Stars lists. She was also included in the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 list for Minnesota,  America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, and the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys’ list of Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys Under 40 in Minnesota.

Mara serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Association of Justice and is a member of the North Dakota Association of Justice, the Stearns-Benton County Bar Association, and the John E. Simonett Chapter of the American Inns of Court. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.

Mara graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Broadcasting & Mass Communication Technologies from North Dakota State University.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. While in law school, Mara served on the editorial board and article review board of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law, and she was recognized for her pro bono work at Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota.
