Having worked with clients as a paralegal, law clerk, and attorney, Matt brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to each case. Matt understands that clients often come to him during some of the most difficult and uncertain periods of their lives. He takes the time to listen to their concerns, understand how an injury has affected them and their families, and explain the legal process in a straightforward and approachable way. Matt believes that trust and transparency throughout all stages of a case, during both the good and the difficult moments, are essential to building strong attorney-client relationships. His goal is to ensure that clients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their cases.

Matt has handled complex cases involving boating accidents, brain injuries, car accidents, catastrophic injuries, commercial truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, dog bites, defective products, premises liability and slip-and-fall incidents, abuse, and wrongful death. His experience includes investigating claims, navigating complicated medical and insurance issues, developing cases for litigation, and advocating for clients against insurance companies and other responsible parties.

Matt was selected to the 2026 Minnesota Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers. He is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Association for Justice.

Outside the office, Matt enjoys staying active, whether working out at the gym, playing tennis or pickleball, or going for a run. Matt and his wife, Sarissa, also enjoy traveling, particularly when a trip gives them the opportunity to hike and explore somewhere new. When it is time for a break from exercise and travel, Matt enjoys reading and spending time at home with Sarissa and their two cats, Uno and Hattie.
