Kate Hockin

Kate joined Hall Law in March 2019 after clerking for the Honorable Cynthia L. McCollum in Dakota County District Court. Kate is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota, and is a member of the Minnesota Association of Justice.

Kate graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Society and the Environment. She graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While in law school, Kate participated in numerous mock trial competitions where she was able to gain extensive trial advocacy experience. In addition to participating on the mock trial team, Kate gained experience clerking for a personal injury law firm and completing an externship with a medical malpractice firm.

In her free time Kate serves on the Parade Figure Skating Club board of directors, is a competitive figure skater, and participates in flying trapeze.
